How It Works (Basic Procedure):
1. Collect blood sample into the CPT tube (fill to the designated volume).
2. Invert gently (8–10 times) to mix with the anticoagulant.
3. Centrifuge as per manufacturer’s protocol (typically around 1500–1800 RCF for 20–30 minutes at room temperature).
4. PBMC layer forms above the gel separator after centrifugation.
5. Carefully extract the PBMC layer using a pipette for downstream applications.
